Isco’s goal v Atletico Madrid | Real equal record for goals scored in most consecutive games (61)

With Isco’s goal against Atletico Madrid, Real not only knocked out their cross country rivals from the competition, but also equalled Bayern Munich’s record of most consecutive competitive games with at least one goal scored in each of them (61)

Real Madrid’s last game without a goal was April 26, 2016 when they drew away at Man City. Since then, their 61 games have included 38 league games, 14 Champions League ones, 6 Copa de Rey fixtures, 2 from the Club World Cup and one UEFA Super Cup.

The goal was scored due to some outrageous skill on the touchline from France international Karim Benzema.
